Mid-Week Grow Groups

Forgiveness is a Choice? Group Leader: Keith Wolfgram Description:

Come, join us in a journey that will help us experience a forgiving spirit and to find a greater peace and freedom than we have known before.

Times:  Wednesdays at 6:00 PM – Jan 8-Feb 26 – Room 103

The Chosen – Season 3 Group Leader: Ian L’Hommedieu

Description:  Continuing series based on the TV show ‘The Chosen’.  The Chosen depicts the life and ministry of Jesus.  We will be looking at episodes and discussing the main points of each episode.  The Chosen does a wonderful job of introducing people to the life of Jesus Christ and His ministry.  It also introduces other characters which can lead to very interesting conversations.

Times:  Wednesdays at 6:00 PM – Jan 8-Feb 26 – HeBrews Café

Help is Here Group Leader: Susan Goff

Description:  Now more than ever, we’re all weary from the loads we carry and the challenges we face. We have questions we cannot answer and problems we cannot solve. We’d hoped that life would be an invigorating adventure or an inspiring journey. We never expected to grow so tired so quickly. But Max Lucado teaches us that we can find fresh strength and purpose in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Times:  Wednesdays at 6:00 PM – Jan 8-Feb 26 – Room 105

Evangelism Class Group Leader: Celina Bowman

Description:  Confession!! I am 60 years old and have been a Christian for over half my life. I have facilitated Bible studies, chaired VBS’s, served in food pantries and hosted charity events but never have I directly led someone to Christ! Does it not say in Mark 16:16 “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”  Well, I have missed the mark even though I have done many supporting things for the kingdom, I do not know how to share MY story.  “This group study helps group members identify people and places already in their daily routines, encouraging and empowering them to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Evangelism shouldn’t be an artificial religious sales pitch. We should build bridges with our stories to connect people to the heart of the Savior.”  Not everyone has a WOW story but we do know a WOW God, so let’s learn and support each other in learning how to best share our Jesus with the life experiences we have. Whether you have experience in evangelism or not, we can all learn from this class.  This class has 6 video sessions with discussion questions and I am bringing in a guest speaker to help teach us for the other 2 weeks.

Times:  Wednesdays at 6:00 PM – Jan 8-Feb 26 – Room 106
